Our Story
Hi, I'm Ruby, the hands behind Sewn x Roo (Sewn by Roo). I grew up with my nose always stuck between the pages of a book. I loved being able to escape into other worlds and let my imagination run wild. As I got older the love for books never died down. The idea for Sewn x Roo began after starting a book club with my daughter, she asked me to sew a sleeve to protect her Kindle. I enjoyed the process but what I really loved was how happy she was with her custom sleeve! For my designs I take inspiration from my Latina heritage to create beautiful pieces that incorporate a little bit of my cultura.
